Sleep disorders affect as many as 70 million Americans, but only about 5 percent seek treatment. So, who needs a sleep study?  

The Sleep Lab helps treat a number of sleep-related breathing disorders such as:

  • Narcolepsy 
  • Sleep apnea 
  • Restless leg syndrome

Home Sleep Studies 

The Sleep and Breathing Lab at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). This accreditation recognizes the lab for its commitment to the highest quality of care.

The AASM accreditation also provides home sleep apnea testing. This testing options allows you to sleep in the comfort of your own home while wearing a portable monitor that collects information about how you breathe.
