Committed to the Health and Wellness of St. Charles County
By volunteering at our hospital, you help the community.
The volunteer services department has grown to more than 165 active volunteers and 126 Auxilians. Without the contributions of these dedicated men and women, our mission to improve the health of the people and communities we serve could not be carried out.
Become a volunteer and grow with us. We offer flexible schedules, where volunteers can work at various times throughout the day and evening. Meet new people. Share your skills. Learn. Have fun. Contribute at least six hours per shift and receive free meals, pharmacy benefits, referral bonuses and more.

Our Auxiliary has been giving back to the community since our hospital opened in 1980. The Auxiliary raises funds from Gift Shop sales, the Holiday Extravaganza, a Quilt Raffle and special events to purchase items that enhance patient care. In the past, our Auxiliary has raised funds to benefit a variety of patient and employee services including:
- The Siteman Cancer Center Garden of Hope
- Local scholarships
- Ceiling lift devices for patient transfers
- External defibrillators
- Bone marrow testing
- CPR mannequins
- Chemo caps
- Newborn baby caps
- Cough pillows for surgery patients
- Waterfall feature for the Rejuvenation Station
- Books for Babies Early Reading Program
- Stuffed animals for children seen in the emergency department
The Auxiliary has a full governing board chosen from current members and meets monthly. General membership meetings are bimonthly. In addition, the hospital supports the Auxiliary with staff assistance as needed. The Auxiliary plans social events throughout the year that include local excursions and luncheons. Together with the entire volunteer services department, Auxilians also are recognized for their many hours of service at an annual holiday party and an annual volunteer appreciation reception.
