About the Foundation

Connecting Our Community with Care

The Barnes-Jewish St. Peters & Progress West Foundation provides vital support to BJC HealthCare’s efforts to promote health, wellness and state-of-the-art care in St. Charles County. By connecting donor funds to the places that it’s needed most, we provide a vital link for the families who rely on many of the health care services we offer. 

Our joint foundation formed in 2011, to support the two BJC hospitals in St. Charles County, Barnes-Jewish St. Peters and Progress West Hospitals, which opened in 1980 and 2004, respectively. Building on this successful tradition, our Foundation is committed to a single mission: to provide health, healing and hope to the people in this community.

Mission Statement

To engage community leaders, businesses, organizations, patients, families and friends as ambassadors of and investors in Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital and Progress West Hospital, to meet the health care needs of the community and to maintain and/or expand the hospitals’ patient care services and health education programs.
